Cybersecurity Training Lab

There is no such thing as 100 percent security against a cyber attack.
This makes it even more important to know the dangers and be able to react to them.

Since 2017, OTH Amberg-Weiden has been part of the nationwide Cybersecurity Training Lab (LLCS) project in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Academy. The campus in Amberg is home to the E-Learning Studio, which provides media related support to the other Fraunhofer institutes as well as universities of applied sciences throughout Germany. In Weiden, hands-on training courses are offered in cooperation with Fraunhofer AISEC from Munich.

The goal: counteracting the shortage of specialists in the field of cybersecurity through high-quality advanced training. Whether as an online seminar, a face-to-face course or a mix of both: Together with our experts from the Fraunhofer institutes, we provide you with the latest methods and findings on digital security – in a practical and application-oriented manner. Experts and managers from industry and public administration can update and specialize their IT security skills. At numerous locations in Germany, this creates a high benefit value for your company and for you personally.
