Hacking Lab in Weiden

Digitization is increasingly permeating your company's business processes. But the new possibilities also open up new attack surfaces. In line with the motto "Knowledge makes you secure," the Cybersecurity Learning Lab offers IT security training courses for companies. After all, many companies are often unaware of weak points in their IT security.

The learning lab in Weiden is one of the few research facilities in the northern Upper Palatinate in the field of IT security and offers an expanded laboratory in modern premises, directly on the campus of the OTH Amberg-Weiden.

Digital learning and online training are standard in continuing education today, but for a profound transfer of knowledge, what is learned must be tried out and applied in practice: Our hacking lab in the E-House is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and specially set up for hacking training. Training participants can try out and implement the training content on the 90m² training area using various exercises.

Cybersecurity for embedded systems, mobile devices and for the Internet of Things, as well as ethical hacking – these are the focus areas of the cyber security learning lab in Weiden.

Our training courses range from the basics of IT security to the various levels from user and developer to expert. Thanks to the cooperation between the university of applied science and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security AISEC in Munich, you always receive the latest research knowledge in a practical format.
