    die WEIDEN BUSINESS SCHOOL alle Interessierten zur monatlichen Hybrid-Veranstaltungsreihe research @ WEIDEN BUSINESS SCHOOL einladen. Die Veranstaltung findet am Dienstag, 28.03.2023 ab 18:00 Uhr statt.


    Der Referent Marcus Velis (M.Sc.) wird am 28. März um 18 Uhr seine Masterarbeit zum Thema „Soziale Wahrnehmung in Führungssituationen – Wie der Halo-Effekt und der Erste Eindruck die Wahrnehmung der Menschen von Führungskräften beeinflusst ” vorstellen. 

    Wie gewohnt können Sie  einmal im H002: Hörsaal in Präsenz und online über das Webkonferenzsystem Big Blue Button teilnehmen.

  • IB PC Training courses

    the PC Training course takes place online.

    Please enroll yourself in Moodle for the course "IB - PC-Training WSSS".

    You then have the possibility to select group 1 (Marion Nitsche) or group 2 (Maximilian Lang) under group selection.

    The course times of group 1 are:
    18.03.23 08.15 - 13.15 hrs.
    01.04.23 08.15 - 13.15 hrs.

    The course times of group 2 are:
    04/22/2013 08.15 - 13.15 hrs.
    29.04.23 08.15 - 13.15 hrs.

    Please note that you must be present for both dates in Group 1 or Group 2 to be eligible to take the exam.

  • Event "Women in Data Science" Regensburg

    Dear students, if you are currently working on or have completed a topic related to data science, data management or artificial intelligence as part of your bachelor's or master's thesis: the "Women in Data Science" event offers you the opportunity to present your project (interim) results as a poster. Of course, the event is also an ideal platform to get to know female role models in the IT environment and to make new contacts.

  • Student ID card

    Students who still need their student ID card can order it via email from Ms. Kathrin Forsteronly if you can come to Weiden and pick it up at the Students' Office in room 008. It will take about 2-3 days until you can pick up your student ID after ordering.

    You can then validate your student ID card with the validation printer in the hallway next to the Students' Office.

  • Scholarship of the "Institit für Vorsorge und Finanzplanung"

    The "Institut für Vorsorge und Finanzplanung" supports students of the WEBIS faculty who want to orient themselves professionally in the field of economics, finance and insurance with a monthly scholarship of 500 euros. Application is open until March 31, 2023.

    Starting from the first semester, students who plan their professional future in the fields of business, finance and insurance and who pursue their professional career with ambition and determination can apply for the scholarship.
    We offer

    • visibility through our media
    • a high profile network of industry personalities

    The IVFP scholarship of 500 EUR aims at funding studies at the Weiden Business School of the OTH Amberg-Weiden.

    Bis zum 21.3.2023 können sich bayerische Studierende und Promovierende bei der BTHA um Stipendien des Ministeriums für Schulwesen, Jugend und Sport der Tschechischen Republik zur Teilnahme an Tschechisch-Sommerschulen auf allen Sprachniveaus bewerben:

    Karls-Universität Prag 20.7. – 17.8.2023
    Südböhmische Universität Budweis 13.8. – 4.9.2023

  • Timetables for the summer semester 2023 are online

    Dear students,

    the timetables for the summer semester 2023 are online. Please note that changes may still occur.

     

    There will be no pre-enrollment for Moodle courses anymore. Furthermore, there won't be online classes anymore.

    Only students who are able to be in class on campus will be granted access to their (Moodle) courses.

     

    First semester students and students with late visa admission can still enrol in their courses as soon as they are able to join classes on campus - depending on the date of your arrival.

    Please note that professors have the right to close their courses if you are joining too late.

    If you won't be able to join your classes in time, you can postpone your studies for one semester.

    Therefore make sure to come to Germany / Weiden as soon as possible.

     

    First semester students will receive further information at the first semester welcome on 15.03.2023.

  • Chinese language courses in Weiden still have free places!

    The HSK 1 course (for beginners) starts on Thursday, 16.03.2023 at 17.30 in Weiden, room WI 241.

    The HSK 2 course (lower intermediate) starts on Thursday, 16.03.2023 at 15.45 in Weiden, room WI 241.

    These language courses prepare for the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) certificate examination at the Confucius Institute Nuremberg-Erlangen.  The HSK certificate serves as proof of Chinese language ability and is recognised worldwide. Further information is available in the course!

Wenn du Lust hast coole Projekte auf die Beine zu stellen, den Campus mitzugestalten oder dich für die Interessen der Studis einzusetzen, mach mit und meld dich bei uns.     the courses Finance and Investment, Business- & Personnel Consulting Meetings, Negotiations & Conflict could not start as planned this semester for different reasons.

    The courses are going to be offered by other lecturers than announced and they should all start no later than November.

    The exact schedule is going to be announced in time and the courses are going to be open for students from higher semesters.

    We apologize for any inconvenience caused and at the same time we are confident that the new lecturers will offer you a more effective learning experience.
