Do you want to study at the OTH Amberg-Weiden?

The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg- Weiden offers a preparatory course - PropädeutikumPLUS – for refugees and asylum seekers who are in the Amberg/Weiden area and want to prepare for studies at the OTH.
Refugees have the same requirements as prospective students from other countries: They must have a university entrance qualification and prove sufficient German language skills (level B2+).

You will find the exact language requirements on page 3 / §3 of the following link here.
You can assess your German online with the help of the OnSet test. You will find a free German course here.

Via the OnCampus portal, you will find many online courses on a wide variety of topics related to studying, but also to everyday life.

TestAS for refugees

"TestAS for Refugees" – offered free of charge in German, English and Arabic – assesses the applicants’ aptitude to study so that suitable perspective students can be admitted to a degree programme or to study preparation measures at an early stage. For further information go to TestAS.

In the Uni Assist examination procedure for refugees, TestAS is an instrument used to prove the applicants’ interest in and aptitude for studying before the application for admission is submitted. Many refugees need the "TestAS for Refugees" in order to apply for a study place. To register for the test go to this site.

The portal OnCampus offers an online course "Pronunciation training for Syrian learners of German". The course is designed to teach people who speak Syrian Arabic how to pronounce German by means of short videos:
