First Semester Welcome
Dear first semester students,
welcome to OTH Amberg-Weiden!
Here you can find more information about the first semester welcome!
Mentoring
Buddy Programme: In the university's Buddy Programme, students in higher semesters "take the first-year students by the hand", pass on their knowledge about studying and exchange information with each other. This is how to get your studies off to a successful start! You can register for the Buddy Programme by enrolling in the corresponding course on the online learning platform moodle.
Just go to the Buddy Programme of your own faculty under "Home" / "Course areas" / "Student representation" and register. Participants will then receive all further information directly from their Buddies.
First steps: This is for all the female students...! There is a special mentoring called "first steps", an offer of the Centre for Gender and Diversity at OTH Amberg-Weiden, and it is available for female students of all courses. Here, first-year female students are networked with female students of higher semesters over a period of 9 months and they receive an exclusive programme of additional courses focusing on career and leadership skills.
