In the Business Management study courses we provide you with broad basic knowledge to start a successful career. Depending on which course of studies you choose, you will work after graduation as a junior manager in marketing, for example, or as a management consultant for a global player or a sought-after specialist in auditing and tax consultancy. You can also pursue a career as an HR manager, in controlling or in the management of banks and insurance companies.
Some of our graduates use what they have learnt to implement their own ideas within the framework of founding a company. Here too, we will teach you the methodological basics during your studies and provide you with advice and support.
In addition to pure full-time studies, there is also the possibility of combining studies at our university with regular vocational training (= combined studies) within the framework of a so-called "dual study". You also have the opportunity to combine the comprehensive theory at the university with intensive practical phases in companies (= studies with in-depth practical experience).
Would you like to earn your Bachelor's degree while working? This is also possible in the Business Administration/Trade and Service Management degree program.

Thomas Dobat – Graduate
"Very close to practice" - that's how I would describe the business studies at the OTH Amberg-Weiden. Since numerous courses are held in cooperation with companies in the region, there is an early opportunity to apply the methodological knowledge learned in the lectures in practice and to establish professional contacts. It should also be emphasized that the professors are always available to answer questions and to talk at eye level. This familiar and at the same time challenging environment has confirmed my decision to study at the OTH Amberg-Weiden from the very beginning.
Sonja Lindenberger – Graduate
The advantages of studying at the University of Applied Sciences in Weiden were obvious to me: personal contact with the professors and other students and the important practical relevance in teaching. Therefore, it was exactly the right decision for me to complete my business studies at the OTH Amberg-Weiden.
