Program Mechatronics and Digital Automation
Teaching language: German!
This interdisciplinary course of studies includes the subject areas of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. In addition to engineering fundamentals, you will deal with the areas of Industry 4.0 and Digital Automation as well as the construction of mechatronic systems, among others.
Duration: 3,5 years
Start of studies: winter (October 1) and summer (March 15)
Application period: May 1 through July 15 for the winter term, November 20 through January 15 for the summer term
General entrance qualification for admission to a university or technical college or a subject-related university entrance qualification. Admission is also possible via professional university access. Students have to serve a pre-study internship of at least twelve weeks in a relevant professional field prior to their studies or by the end of the third semester at the latest.

The module group Mechanical Engineering provides sound skills in the area of mechanics and involves the following modules:

The module group Information Technology contains the basic engineering contents in the area of information and automation technology:

- Control Engineering

- Mechatronic Systems
- Automation and Robotics
- Industry 4.0
The module group Electrical Engineering deals with the folllowing modules:
- Electrical Engineering I & II
- Measurement Technology
- Electrical Machines and Drives
