At the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, it's talent, interest or hard work that counts - not gender, religion or skin color. At the Center for Gender and Diversity, we are committed to ensure that all students have the same opportunities and development possibilities.
To achieve this important aim, the Women's Representative, the University Representative for Diversity and Students with Disabilities, and the Equal Opportunity Representative at our university work closely together.
We can demonstrate our commitment through a variety of projects and activities. Fields covered by the Center for Gender and Diversity's projects include inclusion, compatibility of studies or work and family, and career development for women.

OTH Amberg-Weiden is a member of the State Conference of Women's and Equal Opportunity Representatives at Bavarian Universities (LaKoF Bayern). This organization represents the interests of female students, scientists and women in academic support personnel. At the state level, LaKoF influences equal opportunity policy at universities through statements, recommendations and concepts. The aim is to remove obstacles and to promote women's scientific careers in a targeted manner.
