Inauguration of the Center of Excellence for Cogeneration Technologies

The technical centre for combined heat and power generation was inaugurated at the university campus in Amberg after a construction period of just under one and a half years.

For several years now, the Center of Excellence for Cogeneration Technologies at the Tech. Univ. of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden has been working successfully with the Centre for Energy Technology at the University of Bayreuth. The joint research area includes Organic Rankine Cycle plants for waste heat conversion in industry.
