Alma Spribille is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WEtell GmbH, a purpose-driven mobile communications company that aims to transform the telecommunications sector through sustainability, transparency, and social responsibility. Under her leadership, WEtell has become Germany’s first common-good-certified mobile network operator, offering climate-neutral mobile phone tariffs and investing in renewable energy initiatives.

Her background is in research and development, with expertise in photovoltaics as well as energy and environmental management. Prior to founding WEtell, she held research and leadership positions in applied sustainability and energy research, including at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems.

Since 2021, Alma Spribille is a board member of the Bundesverband Nachhaltige Wirtschaft e.V.. In 2022, she was appointed by Robert Habeck to the SME Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, where she contributed to shaping sustainability-oriented economic policy until 2025.
