Biography

Sarina Spiegel is the author of the recently published book “Eat. Sleep. Work. Die?”, an inquiry to debunk old economic narratives and build a more sustainable and human-centric economy. As a dedicated advocate for economic transformation and systems thinking, she combines academic rigor with a refreshing, pragmatic idealism. 

Sarina Spiegel has worked within the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in the department for transformation policy and currently serves as alliance builder and economist at the non-profit organization ProjectTogether.  

She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Innovation, Public Policy, and Public Value from University College London, where she studied under Prof. Mariana Mazzucato. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international economics and development from the University of Bayreuth. Sarina is part of the Global Shapers, World Economic Forum, and the Think Tank 30, Club of Rome.
