Terms and Conditions
Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of online tickets for the international specialist conference “Economy for the Common Good International Conference 2026” (ECGIC 2026) and apply to all purchasers worldwide.
Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded after the participant registers electronically with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden and receives an explicit confirmation of acceptance from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden via e-mail. The participant will receive an acknowledgement of receipt confirming that your registration has been received.
Fees
Participants are obliged to pay the ticket fee to the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden. The applicable fee is determined by the price list provided in the registration. The fee becomes due upon the conclusion of the contract. The Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden will issue an invoice for the fee.
Cancellation Fee
For cancellations of binding registrations made up to May, 8th, 2026, a processing fee of 100 € will be charged.
From May, 9th, 2026, onwards, cancellations of binding registrations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full ticket price.
Transferability of Tickets
Tickets may be transferred to another person until the start of the event, provided that the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden is notified in advance.
Organisational Changes
The Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden may, for objective reasons, change or cancel the venue, date, time, or format of the event.
Liability
The liability of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden, its legal representatives, and its vicarious agents is limited—except in cases of injury to life, body, or health—to damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. For personal injuries, the statutory provisions apply.
Electronic Form
Any amendments or supplements to the contract must be made in electronic form. No verbal side agreements have been concluded.
Severability Clause
If any provision of this contract is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The contractual partners shall replace the invalid provision with a valid one that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision.
Data Protection
The participant consents to the collection, processing, and use of the personal data provided during registration for administrative purposes.
