The module may be eligible for credit recognition in Master’s degree programs due to its advanced academic level; however, a Bachelor’s degree is not required to enroll in the course.
Description
With our module “Advanced Strategic Management,” you make a visible investment in your professional development. You will not only acquire foundational knowledge but also deepen your expertise in complex business environments and sustainable, competitive strategies by applying scientific strategic analysis tools such as value chain analysis.
Participation is available either on-site or in a hybrid format. The language of instruction is English (German available upon request).

Students develop a deep understanding of advanced strategic management concepts, including dynamic capabilities, corporate governance, M&A strategies, blue ocean strategy, and international corporate strategy. They learn to critically analyze complex business environments and formulate sustainable, competitive strategies at both business unit and corporate levels. - Methodological Competence:
Students acquire the ability to apply advanced strategic analysis tools (e.g., VRIO framework, Porter’s Five Forces, value chain analysis) and simulation-based decision-making techniques. They can design, implement, and critically evaluate complex strategic initiatives in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environments. - Social and Personal Competence:
Students strengthen their leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, particularly in high-pressure strategic contexts. They enhance their intercultural competence, teamwork abilities, and ethical responsibility in global and highly competitive business environments.
