Study service fees for international students

In order to ensure the academic success and long-term integration of international students at OTH Amberg-Weiden, OTH Amberg-Weiden is introducing study service fees of EUR 500 per semester (plus semester contribution of EUR 72) from winter semester 24/25. This applies to persons with a nationality outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) who start their studies from the winter semester 2024/25.
The fees are charged for the duration of the entire degree programme and enrolment at OTH Amberg-Weiden.

The service fee is intended to provide our international students with a good start to their degree programme and optimal support during their studies. This is associated with increased counselling and support from the university.
The aim is to provide international students with the best possible support throughout their entire student life cycle, right up to the end of their degree programme and into employment, and to continuously develop and expand these services.

The additional services are coordinated by the Welcome Centres in Amberg and Weiden.
