Preparing IT Systems for the Post-Quantum Era
How can today's IT infrastructures remain secure when quantum computers challenge established cryptographic methods?
AMiQuaSy explores how complex IT systems can be gradually migrated towards quantum-resistant security. Using a software supply chain and DevOps platform as a real-world scenario, researchers at OTH Amberg-Weiden and their industry partners develop and test approaches for identifying vulnerable cryptographic methods and replacing them with more resilient alternatives – helping prepare digital infrastructures for the security challenges of the post-quantum era.

Together with the Fraunhofer Academy, OTH Amberg-Weiden combines expertise in cybersecurity with practice-oriented professional training. Focusing on embedded systems, mobile security, the Internet of Things and ethical hacking, the Cybersecurity Learning Lab translates current knowledge and methods into hands-on learning formats – helping professionals strengthen cybersecurity skills and respond to evolving digital threats.
