Scarce resources, strict environmental regulations, and technological change necessitate a rethink of industrial manufacturing. The Production and Systems research division at OTH Amberg-Weiden develops solutions for a sustainable and competitive industrial sector. Its work focuses on the simulation and optimization of complex production processes, the use of new materials, control engineering and automation, as well as energy- and resource-efficient methods.
