A-IQ Ready

AI, Quantum Sensing and Edge Technologies

How can artificial intelligence make reliable decisions when data is incomplete, environments are uncertain and reactions are needed in real time?

A-IQ Ready brings together artificial intelligence, quantum sensing and edge computing to develop intelligent, decentralised systems that can process information and act autonomously. Bringing together 50 partners across Europe, the project explores applications ranging from crisis response and digital health to smart logistics and precise navigation – contributing to more resilient, trustworthy and resource-efficient digital infrastructures.

Making Urban Mobility Safer through Intelligent Infrastructure

How can intelligent infrastructure recognise potentially dangerous traffic situations before an accident occurs?

VRUIDFUL is creating a real-world urban testbed around the Amberg campus to explore how connected infrastructure, advanced sensor technologies and artificial intelligence can improve the safety of vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. By collecting and analysing traffic data under real-world conditions, the project is laying the groundwork for AI-based systems capable of recognising movement patterns and anticipating potentially critical situations.
