HyBaBo brings together research, business and regional stakeholders from Bavaria and Bohemia to explore the potential of a cross-border hydrogen economy. By analysing regional opportunities and developing joint approaches to hydrogen production, storage, transport and use, the project creates a foundation for future applications in industry, mobility and energy supply – strengthening sustainable regional development and cooperation at the heart of Europe.

How can electricity and heat be generated efficiently while energy systems become increasingly renewable, decentralised and climate-neutral?
The Centre of Excellence for Cogeneration Technologies brings together applied research on highly efficient energy systems, sector coupling and the integration of new energy carriers such as hydrogen. Combining specialised research infrastructure with close cooperation across industry, municipalities and international research networks, the centre develops and tests solutions for more flexible, efficient and low-emission energy supply.
A-IQ Ready
AI, Quantum Sensing and Edge Technologies
How can artificial intelligence make reliable decisions when data is incomplete, environments are uncertain and reactions are needed in real time?
A-IQ Ready brings together artificial intelligence, quantum sensing and edge computing to develop intelligent, decentralised systems that can process information and act autonomously. Bringing together 50 partners across Europe, the project explores applications ranging from crisis response and digital health to smart logistics and precise navigation – contributing to more resilient, trustworthy and resource-efficient digital infrastructures.
