International Staff Week

One Staff Week – Two Countries, Three Universities!
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to discover two universities in one week: OTH Amberg-Weiden (Germany, Bavaria) and the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (Czech Republic) and get to know another new partner, the Lodz University of Technology and EUPeace Alliance.
The main theme of the 6th joint International Staff Week for academic and non-academic staff is ‘Building bridges between science and industry’.
The programme offers a mix of lectures, workshops and discussions. An experienced trainer will explain the importance of mindful internationalisation and show how it can be integrated into daily work with students. Participants will learn about themselves and their work at the universities, but also about current challenges for students.

When: 20. to 24. June 2026

Main location: Pilsen (Czeck Republic)
Hotel recommendations will be provided after registration.
A free bus transfer between the event venues will be organised.

The participation of registered applicants will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Travel and accommodation costs must be covered by the participants themselves – for example, a corresponding Erasmus+ grant from the home university is available to cover these costs. Further information on this is available from the international offices there.
