careerday 2026 - Information for students
Find your next employer!
On 06 May 2026, the OTH Amberg-Weiden career fair will take place in Amberg from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. At this event, you will have the opportunity to get in touch with potential employers and create a network for their career entry, internships or final thesis projects.
The Agentur für Arbeit will also be offering a presentation “Erfolgreich bewerben” (at 10.30 a.m., 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.), as well as an individual application portfolio check (in German). Registration is not necessary. Please bring your documents printed out or on a tablet. As the Agentur für Arbeit works in German, we cannot guarantee them checking English documents.
Oberpfalzmedien offers free application foto shootings. Registration is not necessary.
For students from Weiden, we are again offering a free shuttle bus that will leave directly from the campus in Weiden and take you to the event in Amberg.
For this year's careerday we are also using the browser-based app ‘talentefinder’.
Bus Shuttle Weiden - Amberg
On 6 May, our shuttle bus will take you easily from the Weiden campus to the exhibition venue at the ACC in Amberg.
