In addition to modern software and computer equipment, as well as a smartboard for presentations, there is a wide range of tools, devices, and machines that simplify both electrical and mechanical work.

At the heart of the MakerSpace are various 3D printing processes. Here, the Formlabs Form 3 (SLA) 3D printer and three other high-quality FDM 3D printers provide quick assistance in creating prototypes.

The rapid prototyping equipment is complemented by a CO2 laser cutter from Epilog and a WAZER waterjet. Cutting a wide variety of materials, such as wood, Plexiglas, aluminum, or stainless steel, is easy and can be done in a short amount of time.

It is only a short step from the digital sketch to the finished cut. In addition to the possibility of carrying out small welding, drilling, and turning work, the mechanical processing options are rounded off by the use of a portal milling machine with a bed size of 1000x1500mm. CNC milling work in wood and aluminum thus completely covers the requirements for prototype construction.
