In order to sustainably increase student success, it is essential to recognize the need for support at an early stage and to approach (at-risk) students in a preventive manner. Therefore, OTH Amberg-Weiden has developed the "Warning system - students at risk", which will be used from the winter semester 2021/22. The tool identifies risks in the course of studies so that preventive measures can be taken in time and help can also be given to students (at risk of dropping out) who do not seek help on their own.

The following institutions / persons at OTH Amberg-Weiden have access to the "Warning system - students at risk":

  • Study and Career Service
  • Deans of Studies
  • Heads of study programs
  • Student advisors
  • University development (administration)

Notes:

  • a separate tool is available for each start cohort (from winter semester 2021/22);
  • as a dean of studies, program director, or advisor, you only have access to programs that you "supervise";
