careerday 2026 - Information for students

On 06 May 2026, the OTH Amberg-Weiden career fair will take place in Amberg from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. At this event, you will have the opportunity to get in touch with potential employers and create a network for their career entry, internships or final thesis projects.
The Agentur für Arbeit will also be offering an individual application portfolio check (in German). Information on registration will be announced here soon.
For students from Weiden, we are again offering a free shuttle bus that will leave directly from the campus in Weiden and take you to the event in Amberg.
For this year's careerday we are also using the browser-based app ‘talentefinder’.
BBus Shuttle Weiden - Amberg
On 6 May, our shuttle bus will take you easily from the Weiden campus to the exhibition venue at the ACC in Amberg.
Rides Weiden - Amberg (departing from bus stop OTH Weiden Hetzenrichter Weg, stopping at OTH Amberg):
- 09:00 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m.
Rides Amberg - Weiden (departing from bus stop ACC Amberg, stopping at OTH Amberg):

- 3:00 p.m.
- 4:00 p.m.
