  • Data Management (including business intelligence, data governance, and database development)
  • Software engineering for digital business models
  • Methodology of empirical research

Supervision of Theses

  • Development and/or application of quantitative methods and tools (e.g., business intelligence, process mining)
  • Development and/or application of data management concepts (e.g., data protection, implications of the AI Act)
  • Development and/or application of green IT concepts (e.g., website CO2 analytics)
  • Development and verification of new digital products (e.g., new apps, new chatbots)
  • Investigation of the potential of digital technologies for the development of new or further development of existing business models (e.g., digital platforms, digital twins)
