Online seminars for scientific writing in business and economics
From April to June, the ZBW Leibniz Information Center for Economics and EconBiz offer four 30-minute online seminars (in English) to help students prepare for their next academic paper in business and economics.

* Tuesday, May 27, 2025, 11:00-11:30 am: Assessing publication quality
* Tuesday, June 17, 2025, 11:00-11:30 am: Avoiding plagiarismThe seminars take place online via Zoom. Depending on your interests, you can register for individual topics or for all four seminars. Registration is free of charge and open to all students.

Due to the lecture-free periods, shortened opening hours apply in the libraries on April 17th (Maundy Thursday) and April 22th:
Library Weiden: 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm
Library Amberg: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The libraries are closed on the Easter holidays, unlocked university students can use the 24-hour access.
From April 23rd we will be back with our regular opening hours!

To get the 24h-access you have to attend a library introduction once. The 24h-access is then valid for the rest of your studies.

New procedure for WEBIS - Application for crediting of competencis via a form online
Dear Students,
there is a new procedure in the WEBIS faculty for applications for the crediting of competences in relation to study and examination achievements.
The previous application process using a paper form and e-mail has been changed. The application can now only be submitted directly via a form online.
Please open the following link to submit an application:

As before, applications can be submitted from 15 March to 15 April and from 1 October to 31 October.
Please enter your details online and upload the necessary documents. Please do not send an e-mail to the person previously responsible: it is no longer necessary and such emails will not be processed.
