Prize for Ethics and Sustainability

Once a year, the university offers the prize for ethics and sustainability of the OTH Amberg-Weiden, which is endowed with 500 €. The prize serves to honor a project developed and implemented by students (theses, student/volunteer projects, ideas from internships) on the topic of ethics and sustainability, with preference given to interdisciplinary projects.

Thematically, the award is particularly oriented towards the following topics from the fields of ethics and sustainability::

  • sustainable corporate management

  • sustainable development cooperation

  • technical innovations for sustainable development

  • social and ecological challenges of the information age

  • ethical consumption

  • ethical issues in medical technology.

Students can apply on their own initiative or be nominated by fellow students, professors or university staff.
