    The examination rooms may only be entered upon instruction by the supervisors. Attendance lists will be available at the entrance. Each student must sign in with their own pen (please have it ready!) and show their student ID.

    Dear students,

    The updated exam schedules, including lecture hall assignments for the WEBIS faculty exams, are now available on the homepage at:

    Additional information: 
    The “MF” is located in the dark lecture hall building between lecture halls 001 and 002.

    Please also note: Some exams will be held in several rounds. Please allow sufficient time and check with the respective examiner in the Moodle course to find out in which round and room you will be taking the exam.

  • IB Sales Management and e-Commerce: Retake exam 12 February 2026, 15.00 hours / 3.00 p.m. CET

    Concerns/Category: 

    Dear Students,

    As previously announced, a retake examination will be offered for those students who did not successfully pass the exam in the previous summer semester in the course IB – Sales Management and e-Commerce.

    The examination will take place on 12 February 2026 at 15.00 hours / 3:00 p.m. CET.

    The exam will be held in presence at the OTH in Weiden. As multiple rooms will be used, you will find information about your specific room assignment in the Moodle course the day before the exam.

    The exam will be

    - an online multiple-choice exam

    - conducted on the computers provided by OTH.

    - It will consist of 30 questions and

    - the duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

    - The questions will follow the same format as the sample questions available on Moodle.

    Make sure:

    - You must be able to log in on the OTH computers using a German keyboard layout and access the Moodle course. If you have not yet done so, please make sure in advance that you are able to log in successfully to Moodle, as technical login issues on the exam day cannot be resolved individually.

    - For identification, you are required to bring your student ID card.

    - You may bring one A4 sheet of paper, handwritten or printed on both sides, containing notes that may help you during the exam.

    - No other aids are permitted. Technical devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, or similar devices must be switched to silent mode and kept in your bags under the table for the entire duration of the exam. Any use of such devices will lead to disqualification from the exam.

  • Provisional examination schedule WEBIS online

    Dear students,

    The preliminary exam schedule for Weiden Business School is now available online on the homepage. The lecture halls will follow as soon as exam registration is complete.

    Please note:

    •     No exam registration means no grade!  This also applies to repeat exams or subjects in which performance assessments take place during the semester.
    •     Any exam conflicts must be reported to Ms. Trottmann (f.trottmann@oth-aw.de) by December 17, 2025, at the latest.
    •     In individual cases, there may still be changes to the schedule, which will be noted in the exam schedule. Please note the updates!
    •     Some exams (especially those in computer rooms) must be held in several rounds due to the high number of participants. Please note the instructions of the examiners and the updates to the exam schedules and allow sufficient time.
    •     Please note the general rules of the WEBIS faculty regarding the examination procedure in the appendix.

  • Unoffered Repeat Examinations in winter term 2025/2026

    Dear Students,

    Please note that for module assessments (e.g., coursework) without an accompanying lecture in the current semester, there is no possibility for a repeat attempt. This applies, among others, to the course “Sales Management & E-Commerce.” A repeat attempt will be possible again in the summer semester 2026, provided that these courses are offered.

    To avoid failed attempts due to time-limit regulations, please submit a request for a deadline extension to the Study Office now.

    for all those who want to write theis thesis, please mind:

    - you need your internship completed (thesis in the first semester following the internship)

    - you need 30 experimental hours

    -you need a first +  2nd supervisor

    -the registration form can be downloaded in Primuss

    -you need fill in the form and get the signature of the first supervisor, then submit to Mrs Kerstin Humig.

    - you can`t submit earlier than 2 months

    -you need to submit within 5 months, to both supervisors + a hardcopy to Students` Office

    - the thesis will be presented in a colloquium

    in diesem Semester findet wieder eine Informationsveranstaltung zum Studiengang
    "Master of Applied Research in EngineeringSciences" (Forschungsmaster) statt.

    Ich lade alle Interessierten herzlich ein, an dieser Veranstaltung teilzunehmen.
    Vor allem richtet sich die Information an alle Studierenden, die demnächst ihr Bachelorstudium
    abschließen werden. 

    In diesem Rahmen werde ich den Studiengang und das Curriculum vorstellen, sowie über Besonderheiten,
    Projekte usw. informieren. Außerdem werden Kollegen bzw. Kolleginnen  mögliche Projekte aus Ihren Laboren präsentieren.

    our  Student Development Center is dedicated to helping you with your studies. Many of you have issues due to arriving later and to juggling studies and job at the same time.

    Our Student Development Center has emailed 444 students and offered help and advice.Sadly, less than 10% of IB students have responded.

    My advice is: if you got such an email, please reply and let my colleagues Dr. Kathrin Morgenstern and Lea-Tara Schmitt help you!

    At both companies, we will hear a presentation on sustainability and strategic management and be given a tour of the company. At Siemens, there will also be an HR session to present entry-level and career opportunities. This will give you the opportunity to meet HR managers in person. Don't miss this chance!

     

    We will travel to both companies by bus. Everything is free of charge. We will meet in front of the OTH cafeteria for departure. We will also return to the OTH.

    - say at the counter that you are here for the library introduction

     

    Please note: You will only be granted access after you have taken part in the library introduction!
    Simply writing your name on the list does not give you 24-hour access!
    You must then also appear on this date and take part in the introduction.

     

    After the introduction, we will activate your student card for the 24-hour library for the rest of your studies.
