- you need your internship completed (thesis in the first semester following the internship)
- you need 30 experimental hours
-you need a first + 2nd supervisor
-the registration form can be downloaded in Primuss
-you need fill in the form and get the signature of the first supervisor, then submit to Mrs Kerstin Humig.
- you can`t submit earlier than 2 months
-you need to submit within 5 months, to both supervisors + a hardcopy to Students` Office
- the thesis will be presented in a colloquium

We are happy to announce the following special offer for IB students, who do not have any knowledge of German and are hence not able to complete their immatriculation with proof of A2 yet:
- A 1.1 German course at the the vhs Weiden-Neustadt (Luitpoldstraße 24, Weiden) and begins on Tuesday 7th October 2025.

For the first time, a bridge course in mathematics will also be offered for international students in the coming winter semester. The course will take place on a total of 11 evenings during the first weeks of lectures; the first date is October 6, 2025.
This voluntary course is particularly helpful for students in the Bachelor's program in International Business to refresh the necessary basic knowledge for courses such as statistics. To enable students who are not yet on campus at the beginning of the semester to participate, the course will be held entirely online.

Current information on the credit transfer process
Dear WEBIS Faculty Students,
This information is only relevant for WEBIS Faculty students!
From 1st October 2025 to 31st October 2025 you can submit credit transfer applications via a link displayed in the Primus Portal, which takes you to an online form to fill in.
The form for submitting applications will be activated on 1st October 2025.
Please note the following:
- A separate application must be submitted for each module to be credited.
- Credit transfer can only be applied for once per module.
- Applications require comprehensive and relevant documentation for processing, otherwise they will be rejected and must be resubmitted.
- The following documents are required, among others:
o Proof of course contents or competences acquired (e.g. excerpt from module handbook)
o Screenshot of Anabin web page (if your university is listed)
o Translated grade conversion scale (into German or English)
o Certified copy of examinations taken (grade sheet/transcript, certificates)
o Translated certificates (into German or English)
- Only for students who begin/began their studies from the winter semester 2024/2025 onwards:
o Applications for the recognition of credits can only be submitted by the deadline (first 4 weeks of the semester) in the first or second semester (except for VHB modules).

We are happy to announce the following special offer for IB students, who do not have any knowledge of German and are hence not able to complete their immatriculation with proof of A2 yet:
- A 1.1 German course at the the vhs Weiden-Neustadt (Luitpoldstraße 24, Weiden) and begins on 7th October 2025.
- course times are Thursdays 17:30 - 20:45 h at vhs Weiden (presence only, please check your study time table first before you register https://www.oth-aw.de/files/oth-aw/Studiengaenge/Bachelor/IB/Dokumente/Stundenplan_IB.pdf- )

- please note that course places are limited

The A1.2 German course at the vhs has 8 free places, so if you can register asap (See below), you can join this coming Thursday in Weiden:This is a special offer for IB students, who do not have A2 knowledge of German and are hence not able to complete their immatriculation with proof of A2 yet.
