Planting trees for our graduates

Each graduation marks the start of a new chapter in life – and at the same time, as a university, we strive to make a sustaining impact. That is why we plant a tree for every graduate. 

In this way, each graduating class will not only be remembered, but will also stay firmly rooted in our region.

This planting occurs once a year alternating between Weiden and Amberg.

Furthermore, the implementation is carried out in collaboration with the City Forestry Department and is being accompanied by the Institute for Sustainability and Ethics.
