Scope and content of the training event

The scope and content of the continuing education course are determined by the respective course programme. The OTH Amberg-Weiden reserves the right to appoint substitute lecturers and/or to slightly change the content of the event in exceptional cases.

Registration and confirmation of participation

Registration takes place online and is binding. With the registration, a further education contract is concluded between the participants and the OTH Amberg-Weiden on condition that the specified minimum number of participants is reached. After registration, participants will receive a confirmation of receipt of registration. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. There is no legal claim to participation.

OTH Amberg-Weiden reserves the right to admit students to continuing education courses via certain admission requirements.

Participation fee

The participation fee is due according to the payment modalities stated in the registration or according to the invoice. The amount is to be paid without deduction and with the booking reference number.

In the event of late payment, participants may be excluded from attending further training events. Certificates of attendance etc. will only be issued after full payment of the participation fee.

Number of participants, cancellation

OTH Amberg-Weiden reserves the right to cancel advertised continuing education events for important reasons, even at short notice. An important reason is, for example, the absence of lecturers due to illness.

In this case, participation fees that have already been paid will be refunded.

Certificate of attendance

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance or the document indicated in the event programme at the end of the event.

Resignation

Withdrawal from the further training contract/from a further training event must be made in writing, whereby transmission by fax or e-mail is sufficient. In case of withdrawal until the end of the withdrawal period, no participation fee will be charged, thereafter the participation fees will be due in full, unless a suitable substitute participant is provided by the withdrawing party.
