Experience research up close – Ostbayerisches ScienceCamp
Particularly gifted 10th grade students at East Bavarian high schools can immerse themselves in the science of technology for three days at OTH Amberg- Weiden. They learn interesting facts about current research topics, experiment in them and evaluate experiments. They present their results at a final presentation in front of an audience.
These ScienceCamps take place at the initiative of the Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Gymnasium Schwandorf at OTH Amberg-Weiden, one each year at the campus in Weiden and one at the campus in Amberg. This measure to promote gifted students is closely coordinated with the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture, Science and the Arts.
The next ScienceCamps will take place in the school year 2021/22.
