Weiden is a cosmopolitan city in the northern Upper Palatinate with infrastructural links to the Czech Republic and the administrative district of Upper Franconia. Our campus for the faculties of business administration and industrial engineering is also located here.
And this location has grown steadily in recent years - equipment and buildings are state-of-the-art. For our students, this means modern (IT) laboratories, lecture halls and library, so that project work, presentations and research activities can be carried out in the best possible way. What additionally distinguishes Weiden as a university location is the familiar atmosphere between students and the direct contact to lecturers and staff.
Adjacent to our buildings at the Weiden site, as the crow flies, is the student dormitory at the Postkeller, 50 meters away. Another dormitory is also only 500 meters away from the campus. If you want your own apartment, you can also settle outside the student dormitories thanks to the fair rental prices.
One of the highlights of Weiden is the old town. Historic buildings form the backdrop for countless shopping opportunities and places to eat. The city also offers a wide range of cultural activities.
