A few important notes

In order to be able to prove a university entrance qualification, you must have your certificates from your country of origin recognized.
In most cases, the recognition of certificates is done via uni-assist: Please apply for a so-called VPD (Vorprüfungsdokumentation).
As of January 2020, there is no longer a cost exemption for refugees with regard to verification fees.

Ukrainian university applicants usually need proof of 11 years of school education and one successful year of study for direct university access.
Without proof of studies, they usually have to attend a preparatory course. The Studienkolleg Coburg is responsible for the universities of applied sciences in Bavaria.

Decisive for the further steps is the evaluation in the VPD.

German language skills at B2 level are required for studies at OTH Amberg-Weiden, as the majority of degree programs are taught in German.

In addition to a B2 certificate in English, an A2 certificate in German is also required.
