Study structure

The degree programme Logistics & Digitalization comprises the following study structure:

• Basic modules (25 credit points)
• Basic business administration modules (50 credit points)
• Advanced modules (40 credit points) 
• supplementary in-depth modules (25 credit points)
• Key qualification modules (30 credit points)
• Practical module (25 credit points)
• Bachelor thesis (12 credit points)
• plus colloquium (3 credit points) 

In the first two semesters you will attend the courses of the basic modules and the basic business administration modules. In the courses you will acquire the business management know-how that you will need in the course of your studies for basic understanding and as a tool. You will attend the following courses:

You get to know the different areas of business administration in the Basic business management modules. These include the topics

The specialisation modules form the core competence you acquire in your studies of Logistics & ​​​​​​Digitalization at our university. You will attend the following planned advanced modules:

Practical phase

In the sixth semester, you can expand the skills you have learned during your studies through business practice in the practical phase of at least 18 weeks. You will gain insights into your future professional life and make valuable contacts for your career. When looking for an internship, we provide you with a lot of useful information and will be happy to advise you.

During the practical phase you will be supervised by a professor. The internship is supplemented by at least one additional module according to the curriculum in the scope of 5 credit points.

Bachelor thesis and colloquium

The programme concludes in the seventh semester with the Bachelor thesis and the Bachelor colloquium. Upon successful completion of your studies in Logistics & Digitalization, you will obtain the title of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).

The module handbook and curriculum contain in particular regulations and information on

• the learning objectives and contents of the compulsory and optional modules,
• the learning objectives and contents of the practical semester as well as its form and organisation
• the type of course in the individual modules, unless conclusively specified in enclosure 1,
• the time distribution of the weekly hours per module and semester,
• more detailed provisions on course-related credits and attendance certificates, and
  the elective modules that can be chosen by the students of the course.
