Would you like to attend the DENK.summit—the largest event in the Northern Upper Palatinate focused on careers, entrepreneurship, and startups—at the Innovision Center in Weiherhammer? There, you’ll have the chance to meet VIP guests including Janna Ensthaler, an investor, entrepreneur, and judge on “Die Höhle der Löwen,” as well as Lara Sophie Bothur, Global Tech Translator, influencer, and member of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe.
Then, as students at OTH Amberg-Weiden, you’ll receive free tickets.
When? Wednesday, June 24, 2025, starting at 12 p.m. (DENK⋅career) and 6 p.m. (Pitch Competition)

DENK⋅career is more than just a traditional career fair—it’s a modern networking event that brings together innovative companies from a wide range of industries and the talents of tomorrow. At the subsequent DENK.summit pitch competition, creative minds, visionary startups, and forward-thinking companies come together to present their ideas to a broad audience and a renowned jury.
Tickets for the DENK.summit normally cost €39.99; discounted tickets for students are available for €19.99. For students at OTH Amberg-Weiden, tickets are even free. - On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Startup Workshop #2: Financing, Taxes & Legal Matters will kick off. At Coworking Kemnath (Röntgenstraße 14, 95478 Kemnath), from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., there will be expert presentations and a self-organized coworking session for your own ideas. - Also on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, “I Love Being the Boss” will take place at Coworking Kemnath from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Elisabeth Zintl, Managing Director of Landhotel Hollerhöfe and founder of the Naturerlebnisakademie, will share insights into her career with the topic “Between a Sense of Home and Entrepreneurship – How a Hotel Business Becomes a Life Project.” Free registration is available at https://coworking-kemnath.de/events/chefin-mai/.
- On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., selected startup teams from universities in Eastern Bavaria will present themselves, their startup projects, and their open positions. The virtual talent matching event is open to students from all departments and anyone interested in collaborating on a startup idea or getting to know young companies in the region.
- For students, university employees, and alumni whose ideas are still in the early stages or who are generally interested in the topic of founding a company, we are once again offering a virtual initial consultation this week on Thursdays between 1 and 2 p.m. Simply visit this link.

RISE: Talent Matching Event

Have you always wanted to get involved in a startup idea? Would you like to be a co-founder, intern, working student, or employee at a startup? Do you want to get to know young companies in the region?
Then come to the GründungsHUB Ostbayern Talent Matching event! We’ll match you!
When? Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Where? Virtually via Teams using this dial-in link
Who? Students from all faculties and anyone who wants to collaborate on a startup idea and get to know young companies in the region.
Under the motto “Startups Meet Students,” selected startup teams from universities in Eastern Bavaria will introduce themselves and their startup projects in short pitches and discuss their open positions. They are looking for co-founders, full-time team members, thesis candidates, working students, or interns. Afterward, interested students will have the opportunity to get to know the founders better and network with them during breakout sessions.
You do not need to register before the event.
