Would you like to attend the DENK.summit—the largest event in the Northern Upper Palatinate focused on careers, entrepreneurship, and startups—at the Innovision Center in Weiherhammer? There, you’ll have the chance to meet VIP guests including Janna Ensthaler, an investor, entrepreneur, and judge on “Die Höhle der Löwen,” as well as Lara Sophie Bothur, Global Tech Translator, influencer, and member of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe.
Then, as students at OTH Amberg-Weiden, you’ll receive free tickets.
When? Wednesday, June 24, 2026, starting at 12 p.m. (DENK⋅career) and 6 p.m. (Pitch Competition)

DENK⋅career is more than just a traditional career fair—it’s a modern networking event that brings together innovative companies from a wide range of industries and the talents of tomorrow. At the subsequent DENK.summit pitch competition, creative minds, visionary startups, and forward-thinking companies come together to present their ideas to a broad audience and a renowned jury.
Tickets for the DENK.summit normally cost €39.99; discounted tickets for students are available for €19.99. For students at OTH Amberg-Weiden, tickets are even free. - You can apply for the Master’s program in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship until Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Graduates from all disciplines who wish to drive innovation in their own startup ventures can use this program to develop innovations and advance their own startup projects on the Campus Kemnath.
- For students, university employees, and alumni whose ideas are still in the early stages or who are generally interested in the topic of founding a company, we are once again offering a virtual initial consultation this week on Thursdays between 1 and 2 p.m. Simply visit this link.

Dear students,
the re:frame Short Film Festival is back again this year—and your film could win!
You have until Sunday (May 24) to submit your film for a chance to win one of the Audience Awards.
Here’s what awaits every visitor:
- A colorful mix of short films
- The opportunity to meet young filmmakers from across Bavaria
- An audience vote for your personal favorite film
- An after-party at The Beanery featuring a special offer: exclusive re:frame cocktails
- And, of course, plenty of popcorn, drinks, and snacks!
Key Details:
re:frame takes place on June 19, 2026, starting at 5:30 PM (doors open at 5:00 PM) at the Ringtheater (Spitalgraben 2, 92224 Amberg).
Advance tickets (€2 per ticket) will be available for purchase in the cafeteria starting next week. On June 19, tickets will also be available at the door (€4 per ticket).
We look forward to seeing lots of film-loving fellow students and staff members. Naturally, visitors from outside the university are also warmly welcome. So feel free to bring along your friends and family!

Cinerama ist das Studierendenkino der OTH Amberg-Weiden. Wir zeigen (fast) jeden Mittwoch im Semester Filme im Audimax und dazu gibt’s auch noch gratis Popcorn. Das das ganze läuft leider nicht von alleine.
Auch dieses Semester suchen wir wieder neue motivierte Menschen für unser Team, um das Studikino am Laufen zu halten!
