    Liebe Studierende,

    gerne möchte ich Sie auf o.g. Gastvortrag aufmerksam machen und ganz herzlich einladen!
    Wir begleiten eine szenische Produktion mit einer über 50-jährigen Tradition.
    Für das deutsche Fernsehen wurden mehr als 3.000 Folgen produziert.
    Über Generationen hinweg hat die Sendung Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer geprägt und Fernsehgeschichte geschrieben.
    In diesem Vortrag werfen wir einen kleinen Blick hinter die Kulissen.
    Aus der Perspektive von Ton-Postproduktion und Mischung beleuchten wir die kreativen und technischen Herausforderungen
    ihres Entstehungsprozesses: von der ersten Idee über die Produktion und Postproduktion bis hin zur finalen Sendefassung.
    Freuen Sie sich auf spannende Einblicke in technische Arbeitsabläufe, gestalterische Entscheidungen und die Entwicklung
    einer Produktion, die seit Jahrzehnten fester Bestandteil der deutschen Fernsehlandschaft ist.

  • Reminder: Restrictions on the interlibrary loan of books from June 11th onwards

    The library will soon be switching to a new IT system. As a result, users will face some restrictions on interlibrary loan services.

    1. If you need to order interlibrary loans from other libraries in the near future, please place your orders as soon as possible. The last day to place an order is June 10th, 2026, only one week from now! After that, interlibrary loan requests for books will not be processed again until early September.
    2. Loan periods for books from other libraries can be granted until July 24, 2026, at the latest. No exceptions will be made. Late returns will result in fees.
    3. NOT affected are: Orders for journal articles through our Articles via Interlibrary Loan service, Books available locally in Amberg and Weiden.

  • UPDATE - Registration for SWP/WP modules, projects, and “Required Elective Modules in Content and Media Design” - Winter Semester 2026/2027

    Dear Students,

    the second week for registration in all (subject/program-specific) elective modules for the Bachelor’s programs in the EMI Faculty, the “Elective
    Modules in Content and Media Design” (MT program), and the project offerings for the EI, II, MI, and MT programs—as well as, for the first time,
    some project offerings for the IA, MKI, and MAI programs—has begun.

    To summarize the first week, the following modules unfortunately cannot be offered in the upcoming winter semester due to no or insufficient
    registrations:

    - Development and Design of a Race Car for Formula Student
    - GeoXR
    - Information Theory and Coding
    - Machine Learning in Robotics
    - Physical Computing
    - SAP Application Development for Logistics 4.0

    We therefore ask you to register for another module of your choice.

    The registration for all (subject- and program-specific) required-elective modules in the EMI Faculty’s Bachelor’s Degree Programs, the “Required-Elective Modules in Content and Media Design”
    (MT program), and the project offerings for the Bachelor`s Degree programs EI, II, MI, and MT, as well as, for the first time, some project offerings for the Master`s Degree Programs
    IA, MKI, and MAI, begins on Monday, May 4, 2026, 6:00 p.m.

    Cinerama ist das Studierendenkino der OTH Amberg-Weiden. Wir zeigen (fast) jeden Mittwoch im Semester Filme im Audimax und dazu gibt’s auch noch gratis Popcorn. Das das ganze läuft leider nicht von alleine.
    Auch dieses Semester suchen wir wieder neue motivierte Menschen für unser Team, um das Studikino am Laufen zu halten!

    wegen der aktuell anstehenden Brandschutzsanierung EMI 3.OG im Westflügel Geb. G, ist es notwendig, für die Anlieferung der Baumaterialien und zur Durchführung der Baumaßnahme, den rot gekennzeichneten Parkplatz (siehe Anhang) ab dem 23.02.2026 bis auf Weiteres zu sperren.

    Die Zufahrt und das Abstellen von Fahrzeugen ist nur den Baufirmen und Baustellenfahrzeugen gestattet.
    Bitte beachten Sie diese Regelungen, wir geben den Parkplatz so bald als möglich wieder frei.
