  • Last Reminder: Interlibrary loan of books is only available for one more day!

    Concerns/Category: 

    The library will soon be switching to a new IT system. As a result, users will face some restrictions on interlibrary loan services.

    1. If you need to order interlibrary loans from other libraries in the near future, please place your orders as soon as possible. The last day to place an order is June 10th, 2026, only one day from now! After that, interlibrary loan requests for books will not be processed again until early September.
    2. Loan periods for books from other libraries can be granted until July 24, 2026, at the latest. No exceptions will be made. Late returns will result in fees.
    3. NOT affected are: Orders for journal articles through our Articles via Interlibrary Loan service, Books available locally in Amberg and Weiden.

    Please feel free to contact our on-site staff or
    our research specialist Lena Konrad by email.

     

    Alternatives starting June 11th, 2026:

    • Interlibrary loan requests in Amberg via the Amberg Provincial Library
    • Interlibrary loan requests in Weiden via the Regional Library
    • Use of our Bookeye book scanners to scan and save important content to a USB drive you bring with you—please ask at the service counter if you have any questions!

    Als Fachschaft gestalten wir für euch ein Bierpongtunier🤾🏻‍♀

     

    Wann? 10.06. 16:00 Uhr

    Wo? OTH Köpfe

    Wer? Jeder!

    Getränkeoptionen: Bier, Wein oder Alkoholfrei

     

    Wer am Turnier teilnehmen möchte, muss sich bis *08.06.* bei uns entweder per Instagram DM @oth_weiden_fachschaft oder unserer Mail-Adresse fs-webis@oth-aw.de anmelden.

     

    Wie läuft das ab?

    Ihr meldet euch in 2er Teams bei uns mit eurem kreativen Teamnamen an. Wir haben eine kleine Anmeldegebühr von 15€ pro Team, dafür sind jedoch alle Getränke während der Spiele bereits inbegriffen! Außerdem haben wir für die Gewinner ein paar besondere Preise🤫

    Mitmachen lohnt sich!

     

    Aber Achtung, es gibt nur 8 Teams, die mitmachen können, also seid schnell⌛

     

    Du möchtest nicht am Tunier teilnehmen? Kein Problem! 

    Auch andere Spielmöglichkeiten und ein weiterer Bierpongtisch stehen zur Verfügung.

    As your student council, we're organizing a Beerpong Tournament for you!🤾🏻‍♀️

     

    When? June 10th, 4 PM

    Where? Campus, OTH Heads

    Who? Everyone!

    Drinks: Beer, wine or alcoholfree

     

    If you want to take part in the tournament, you need to sign up by *June 8th*, either on Instagram @oth_weiden_fachschaft or by emailing us at fs-webis@oth-aw.de .

     

    How does it work?

    You register in teams of two with your creative team name.

    There’s a small registration fee of €15 per team, but that includes all drinks during the games!

    We also have some special prizes waiting for the winners 🤫

    It’s definitely worth joining!

     

    But heads up:

    Only 8 teams can participate — so be quick! ⌛

     

    Not interested in playing in the tournament? No problem!

    There’ll be other games and an extra beer pong table available for everyone to enjoy.
