Im Kompetenzzentrum für Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung der OTH Amberg-Weiden befinden sich modernste Anlagen für die angewandte Forschung und Entwicklung an KWK-Systemen.

In spring 2015, CeCoGen received an award from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology as a shaper of the energy transition. The Center of Excellence for Cogeneration Technologies of the Tech. Univ. of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden is equipped with state-of-the-art test bench technology for applied research and development on CHP systems.
