You will have valuable cultural exchanges and gain interdisciplinary language skills, but also deal with overarching disciplines such as logistics or software development.

Commencing from the 6th semester, you can choose your own modules from a wide-ranging catalogue of electives and thus determine your own specialisation. Whether you want to dig deeper into management or you would prefer to become an automation expert, the choice is yours!

Practice-oriented

The lectures are enhanced with a strong practical alignment through interactive teaching formats and a large number of laboratories (e.g. SAPbased Smart Factory or 3D printing lab). Contemporary topics such as Industry 4.0, Big Data, Smart Factory or artificial intelligence are taught by our motivated and experienced professors. Our modern university also has a strong focus on industrial cooperations. This is realised through excursions to engineering companies, trade fairs, guest lectures by industry experts and business and industry-related student projects.

The degree programme offers students the chance to gain a broad overview of technical and economic topics, but also the prospect of deepening their knowledge.

Industrial Engineering offers an international orientation and flexibility through a wide range of elective options. These can be used either for continued language acquisition or for the development of specialist or individual competences. On the one hand, the degree programme is aimed at international students who have a basic knowledge of the German language (level A2) and want to develop this language skill further, on the other hand, to those who already have German language skills at level B2 or better or are native speakers.
