For three months, start-up teams from the Upper Palatinate universities tested their ideas in practice. They implemented their business ideas with 5 euros of start-up capital. At the final event, they will now present their results and compete for the three best places. You are all cordially invited to these pitches.
When? Thursday, 24.07.2025, 5 to 8 pm

Who? All students from all faculties are welcome as an audience
Would you like to support a start-up team or find out about their business ideas? Then come to the 5-Euro-Business final event. The start-up teams will present their business ideas and their experiences on the market in front of an audience and a jury of business experts. The award ceremony will then take place. At the end, you will have the opportunity to meet inspiring people and exchange ideas at the subsequent get-together at the buffet.

Examination schedules WEBIS summer semester 2025 online
Dear students,
The provisional examination schedules of Weiden Business School are now available online on the homepage. The lecture halls will follow as soon as the exam registration period is over.
Please note:
- There is no grade without exam registration. This also applies to repeat examinations or subjects in which assessments take place during the semester.
- Overlapping examinations must be reported to Ms. Trottmann (f.trottmann@oth-aw.de) by 30.05.2025 at the latest.
- In individual cases, there may still be postponements, which will be noted in the examination schedule. Please note the updates!
- Some exams (especially those in IT rooms) have to take place in several rounds due to the high number of participants. Please follow the examiners' instructions and the updates to the examination schedule and allow sufficient time.

Then come to the Talent Matching Event of the GründungsHUB Ostbayern this evening.

Who? Students from all faculties and anyone who wants to work on a start-up idea and get to know young companies in the region.
Under the motto “Start-ups meet Students”, selected start-up teams from East Bavarian universities will present themselves and their start-up projects in short pitches and then discuss their vacant positions. We are looking for co-founders, permanent team members, final-year students, working students and interns. Afterwards, interested students have the opportunity to get to know the founders better in break-out sessions and to network in a relaxed atmosphere.
