  • O/HUB: Amberg entrepreneurship network with blockchain start-up YOUKI

    On Tuesday, 14 May, the Amberg Economic Development Agency, together with the O/HUB and others, invites you to the entrepreneurship network.

    The open event for founders, start-ups, supporters of the start-up ecosystem and anyone interested in founding a company will not only see YOUKI, a blockchain start-up from Amberg, introduce its new office. There will also be the opportunity to present your own projects in a pitch and to network over drinks and snacks.

    • Save the Date: There will be another O/HUB talk on Monday, 10 June. At 18:00 in the S@ON InnovationsLab (ground floor ehouse), the topic will be ‘team building’ and what makes successful teams.
    • For students, university staff and alumni whose ideas are still in the early stages or who are generally interested in the topic of founding a company, we are again offering virtual initial counselling this week on Thursdays between 1 and 2 pm.   • O/HUB: Start Social Impact Award 2024

    In Germany, the Social Impact Award 2024 is entering the final phase!

    Young people have until May 13 to submit innovative ideas for their own social or ecological projects or their social business to the Social Impact Award (SIA) and start their journey as social entrepreneurs.

    The SIA supports successful applications with:

    • 3 months of incubation worth over €20,000
    • Professional mentoring & access to an international pool of experts
    • Chance of €3,000 seed funding
    • Social entrepreneurship network & SIA alumni community

    You can also register with the SIA for 1-on-1 coaching sessions (dates: April 24/ April 30/ May 8) to receive valuable feedback on your project ideas from experts. You can ask questions about submission and incubation in Q&A sessions on April 18 or May 6. Of course, the Oberpfalz Start-up HUB will also be there to support you.

    • Für Kurzentschlossene: Zum Start des Sommersemesters gibt es für alle Gründungsinteressierten die Infoabende Gründung.     • Am selben Tag, 23.04.2024, findet von 19:00 bis 20:00 Uhr im Coworking Kemnath (Röntgenstr. 14, 95478 Kemnath) „Ich bin gerne Chefin!“ statt. Unter dem Motto „Ich bin gerne Chefin, weil echte Beteiligung alles für alle besser macht.“ spricht Veronica Rösch über ihre Erfahrungen als Leiterin HR Development sowie Vertrauensperson für Vielfalt und Gleichberechtigung bei der in-tech GmbH aus München.
