HIGHLIGHTS of the course

Instead of just learning theories from textbooks, on the Master's degree programme in International Management & Sustainability you will deal with real challenges from international business practice - always with a focus on sustainable business. Instead of discussing purely abstract concepts, you will work in a team to develop concrete solutions for global issues in management, environmental economics or social entrepreneurship.
Instead of sitting in overcrowded lecture theatres, you study in small groups with personal support - and learn in an international, English-speaking environment that promotes intercultural skills and creates space for exchange.
What makes the degree programme special is the combination of management and sustainability, practice and science, global thinking and responsible action. The programme not only prepares you for your career, but also for the challenges of a changing world.
Structure
On the Master's degree programme in International Management & Sustainability, you will deepen your knowledge of international management issues and sustainable corporate management. Your timetable includes topics such as strategic management, global value chains, intercultural management and business ethics - supplemented by content such as environmental economics, corporate sustainability and climate change.
Instead of just analysing what responsibility means in theory, you will develop concrete solutions for real challenges in practical projects - for example in the areas of social entrepreneurship or sustainable innovation. You will also strengthen your personal skills in electives such as Organisational Psychology, Design Thinking or Compliance & CSR.
In the third semester, you will apply your skills in a service-learning project and write your Master's thesis - ideally linked to a specific practical or research topic. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the academic degree of Master of Arts (M.A.).
