The Master’s programme in Digital Business at OTH Amberg-Weiden builds on the knowledge gained during your Bachelor’s or Diplom degree – and prepares you to become a highly qualified specialist and leader at the intersection of business, technology and innovation.

HIGHLIGHTS of the course
In the Digital Business master’s program, you will develop strategic, technological, and innovative solutions for complex challenges faced by companies across all industries. Whether it’s digital products, data-driven business models, or holistic transformation strategies—you’ll implement these solutions in interdisciplinary teams through real-world projects. You’ll use modern tools such as business intelligence software, SAP, data analytics platforms, and agile collaboration systems. Projects are often developed in close cooperation with companies that actually implement your concepts and prototypes.

Structure
In the Digital Business master’s program, you will deepen your knowledge of management, technology, and innovation. Core modules include Innovation & Design, Big Data Analytics, Digital Marketing & Sales, Agile Project and Process Management, Digital Leadership & Transformation, Digital Strategies and Business Models, Cybersecurity & Law, as well as Digital Finance and Digital Ethics. Experienced professors, digitalization experts, and business executives guide the program. Active learning, case studies, and corporate projects characterize the multi-award-winning curriculum. This is complemented by scientific methods from computer science, business informatics, statistics, and econometrics, with a focus on quantitative methods in digital business.
In the third semester, Global Supply Chain & Operations Management and Digital Business Research combine theory and practice. The program culminates in a master’s thesis or a capstone project, often in collaboration with partner companies—preparing students for demanding specialized and leadership roles in digital business.
