Dear graduates,

we look forward to being able to celebrate your graduation with you again this year.

We invite all graduates from the summer semester 2023 and the winter semester 23/24 on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4 p.m. to the foyer and the Gustl-Lang Hall of the Max-Reger-Halle, Dr.-Pfleger-Str. 17 in Weiden. The decisive factor for receiving the invitation is the exmatriculation date of March 14, 2024.

The registration period via the website runs until May 13th, 2024.

Afterparty at the Campus FESTival at OTH Amberg-Weiden

Dear graduates,

if you would like to continue celebrating after the ceremony, we have a special highlight for you: The Campus FESTival offers you a selection of delicious drinks, food trucks, shishas and music on two stages. There is guaranteed to be something for every taste. With hopefully the best summer weather, we would be happy to meet you at the campus in Weiden after the official farewell.

You can't make it to the graduation ceremony on the 21st of june ...

...then we recommend that you register in the OTH Amberg-Weiden alumni portal. Once you have registered, we will be happy to keep you up to date on what is happening at the university once every six months. We also invite you to alumni meetings on campus at regular intervals. We would be happy if you would like to stay in touch with us.

FAQ's graduation ceremony 2024

The 2024 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024. The graduates of the Weiden Business School are cordially invited to the celebration from 4:00 p.m. to around 5:30 p.m. (official part) and then to the get-together.


The agenda for the event follows shortly.


All graduates whose grade assessment was completed between March 16, 2023 and March 15, 2024 will be invited to the 2024 graduation ceremony by email.


Please register using our registration form. No tickets will be issued for the event. There are 700 places available for graduates and their guests, professors, alumni and staff.


The number of your accompanying guests is limited. You can bring two friends or family members. We ask you to indicate this when you register. Depending on the development of registration numbers, the number of accompanying persons may be increased later. Corresponding information will be sent via email.


The ceremonial presentation of certificates and prizes, as well as the get-together with drinks and finger food, will take place in the Max-Reger-Halle, Dr.-Pfleger-Str. 17, 92637 Weiden in der Oberpfalz.

The Max-Reger-Halle is just a few minutes' walk from the train station and the pedestrian zone in the city center. Guests have 75 on-site parking spaces in front of the hall, 400 parking spaces opposite in the large parking lot of the city of Weiden and a further 459 parking spaces in the nearby parking garage.


There is no official dress code for the festive event. The usual choice of clothing is more elegant, which is particularly good for photos of the event.


The venue has barrier-free access.


The event will be held in German.


Have you already received your original certificate? No problem! You are welcome to take part in the graduation ceremony. In the registration form, please check the box next to “Original certificate already received”, so we will create a copy, which will then be ceremoniously presented to you.


If you have already registered but are unable to attend, please let us know by email: Your certificate will then be sent to you by the study office.


The photos taken by the photographer as part of the farewell graduation will be made available on this page for viewing and downloading. If available, you can find the corresponding link here or further up the page. You will receive the required password from Ms. Melanie Nappert afterwards.
