Workshops on academic writing

Dear students,

We would like to offer you various workshops online to support you in writing your thesis.

Topics here are topic identification & research questionstructure of the research situation & structure of the theoretical partstructure of the research design & structure of the empirical part and presentation and defense of the thesis.

Bachelor's and Master's students can register. Please register for individual topics, multiple topics, or all of them. The deadline for registration for the first workshop is March 1, 2024.

7.3. & 14.3.2024: 17 bis 18:30 Uhr - (1) How do I develop a compelling concept for my Master's thesis that allows an optimal focussing of the project and thus the text to be written? How do I write a suitable exposé?


21.3. & 27.3.2024: 17 bis 18:30 Uhr - (2) How do I develop and write a well-structured theoretical section (state of the art / research) and a corresponding theoretical framework?


4.4. &  11.4.2024: 17 bis 18:30 Uhr - (3) How do I create a feasible research design? How do I structure and write a suitable results/empirical part?


18.4. & 25.4.2024: 17 bis 18:30 Uhr - (4) How do I present the results of my Master's thesis in a clear and attractive way? How can I prepare for the defence/examination?

The workshops offered are not purely a series of lectures and cameras and microphones must be switched on for participation, as your cooperation is required.
