Impairment of exam participation due to strikes on Monday, February 2, 2026

Dear Students,
warning strikes in local public transport have been announced for Monday, February 2, 2026, but no further details have been provided. If you are affected by this, the following key points apply:
1. All examinations will take place as scheduled according to the examination schedule.
2. Students who do not attend the exam due to the strike (force majeure) will not be disadvantaged (no exam attempt, no effect of deadlines). However, affected students must submit an application with proof to the Examination Office.
3. For students who arrive late due to the strike (force majeure), it is up to the examiners to decide on a case-by-case basis. It may be possible for them to take the exam during the remaining exam time. Under certain circumstances, the exam time can also be adjusted for the students affected, provided that this does not cause any further implications (room occupancy, disruption of the exam, etc.). Or, in the case of exams with two consecutive time slots, participation in the later group may be considered, for example.
4. There is no entitlement to an alternative date.

Wartungsarbeiten am Gitlab Server

Aufgrund von Wartungsarbeiten kann es morgen am 30.1. zwischen 12 Uhr und 17 Uhr zu Ausfällen des Gitlab Servers kommen.
Overnight stays in the library are prohibited

There is evidence to suggest that people have been staying overnight in the Amberg Library. The library is a place for learning and working, not a hotel.
In particular, the first aid room is NOT a place to stay overnight, but may only be entered and used in emergencies. Items may not be removed from it and the use of blankets and similar items is strictly prohibited for hygiene reasons.

Liebe Erstsemester-Studierende,
zum Sommersemester 26 startet der neue Studiengang „Angewandte Wirtschaftsinformatik (AWI)“ mit dem Abschluss B.Sc.
AWI wird die bisherigen Studiengänge DIB und LD ablösen.
Für die Übergangszeit bieten wir euch einmalig die Chance, von DIB oder LD zu AWI zu wechseln und bisher erbrachte Leistungen des ersten Semesters mitzunehmen.
Infos zum AWI-Studiengang und wie ein Wechsel ablaufen würde, teile ich am Mittwoch, 5.11., am Ende der Orga-Vorlesung bei Prof. Pitzl.
Für alle Interessierten wäre dies die ideale Gelegenheit, Fragen gemeinsam zu klären.
