Behavioral Science Lab (BSL)

The Behavioral Science Lab (BSL) was originally established as the Business Innovation Lab (BIL) with support from the Weiden Business School. Later, with partial funding from Zentrum für Gender und Diversity (ZGD), the facility was expanded to include additional software and hardware. The arrival of the MindShift from Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre project led to a major upgrade with modern technologies.
Today, the IPBS Lab has the capacity to support full-scale psychological research across all departmental areas, including marketing psychology, neuropsychology, physiological psychology, educational psychology, and more.
The lab is equipped with a wide range of hardware, including various types of eye-tracking systems, virtual reality devices, biosensors, EEG head caps, and other advanced tools.
Students across Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs actively use these technologies for their thesis and research projects.
