Shape Future General Assembly 2026

The Shape Future General Assembly 2026 took place in Modena from May 28 to 29, bringing together project partners for two days of exchange, collaboration, and forward-looking discussions. Moritz Schaffenroth represented the Automotive-Team OTH Amberg-Weiden at OTH Amberg-Weiden. 

The setting could not have been more fitting: at the same time, Modena was hosting the Motor Valley Fest, celebrating one of Europe’s most iconic automotive regions. 

A particular highlight of the assembly was the keynote speech by 
Sergio Gabriele Di Dato from Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., who shared valuable insights from the automotive industry. 

Many thanks to Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and especially Paolo Burgio for hosting the event and creating such an inspiring setting for exchange.
 

This week the colleagues Jakob Götz and Patrick Purucker of the Automotive-Team OTH Amberg-Weiden had the oportunity to participate in the final review meeting of the A-IQ Ready project, which took place in Tampere, Finnland. In addition to fruitful discussions with project partners, the project was successfully completed. During the meeting interesting results were presented, and a highlight was the on-site demonstration of Kalmar, where autonomous heavy machines for container logistics are operating autonmously. 

Diese Woche hatten die Kollegen Jakob Götz und Patrick Purucker vom Automotive-Team OTH Amberg-Weiden die Gelegenheit, an der Abschlussveranstaltung des A-IQ Ready-Projekts teilzunehmen, die in Tampere, Finnland, stattfand. Neben interessanten Gesprächen mit den Projektpartnern wurde das Projekt erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Während dem Meeting wurden interessante Ergebnisse vorgestellt, und ein Highlight war die Vor-Ort-Demonstration von Kalmar, bei der autonome Großmaschinen für die Containerlogistik selbstständig im Einsatz sind.

Yesterday 2nd day of the hashtag#Moore4Power kick off meeting Infineon Technologies in Munich. 
Heike Lepke introduced the data management plan for the project with a important lesson already aktively worked on in hashtag#PowerizeD, Publish publications with green access!
Thanks to Daniela Maier and Jochen Koszescha for the great organisation and looking forward working together with Vicky Chatzidogiannaki and Kyriakos Terzopoulos on our data topics.

Last week, our colleagues of the Automotive-Team OTH Amberg-Weiden, Uwe Kölbel and Moritz Schaffenroth had the opportunity to visit the Ultra Video Group lead by Jarno Vanne in Tampere, Finland, for an INN.4 Shape Future meeting. 
During the workshop at the Tampere University, we presented our recent work on the reinforcement based channel selection algorithm and worked on potential collaborations and discussed the latest content-related progress in our joint activities. 
The in-person discussions were highly valuable and once again showed how important close collaboration is for driving innovation forward.
