You can enrol in your Moodle courses from Sunday, 1 March 2026, 7:00 a.m. Please only enrol in courses that you can actually take in the coming semester so that you don't take up places that could be used by other students.
First-year students can still enrol in Moodle courses for the basic lectures after the semester has begun. Further information will be provided at the first semester welcome event on 16 March 2026.
If you are unable to register for a course that you are required to take, please contact the relevant lecturers directly.

6. Runde „Digitalschmiede Bayern“ – 3-monatiges Fellowship-Programm zur Entwicklung digitaler Prototypen für die staatliche Verwaltung
Liebe Studierende,
wenn Sie sich für die digitale Entwicklung interessieren, bewerben Sie sich bitte gern für den sechsten Durchlauf der "Digitalschmiede Bayern":
Alle Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer sammeln drei Monate lang (August bis Oktober 2026) Praxiserfahrung in der digitalen Produktentwicklung. In dieser Zeit werden sie digitale Prototypen und Prozesse nach agilen Methoden neu- oder weiterentwickeln. Dabei arbeiten sie gemeinsam mit engagierten und erfahrenen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern der Ministerien. So können Sie gleichzeitig auch ihr persönliches Netzwerk in die Gemeinschaft von digitalen Produktmacherinnen und zu potenziellen Arbeitgebern in der öffentlichen Verwaltung aufbauen.
Die Bewerbungsphase läuft vom 01.03. bis einschließlich 17.05.2026. Die Teilnahme am Programm in Vollzeit kann mit bis zu 1.100 Euro im Monat bezuschusst werden.
Das Programm wird teilweise in den Räumlichkeiten der byte und nach Möglichkeit auch in den jeweiligen Ministerien in München stattfinden. In der übrigen Zeit werden die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer remote arbeiten.

wegen der aktuell anstehenden Brandschutzsanierung EMI 3.OG im Westflügel Geb. G, ist es notwendig, für die Anlieferung der Baumaterialien und zur Durchführung der Baumaßnahme, den rot gekennzeichneten Parkplatz (siehe Anhang) ab dem 23.02.2026 bis auf Weiteres zu sperren.
Die Zufahrt und das Abstellen von Fahrzeugen ist nur den Baufirmen und Baustellenfahrzeugen gestattet.

Impairment of exam participation due to strikes on Monday, February 2, 2026

Dear Students,
warning strikes in local public transport have been announced for Monday, February 2, 2026, but no further details have been provided. If you are affected by this, the following key points apply:
1. All examinations will take place as scheduled according to the examination schedule.
2. Students who do not attend the exam due to the strike (force majeure) will not be disadvantaged (no exam attempt, no effect of deadlines). However, affected students must submit an application with proof to the Examination Office.
3. For students who arrive late due to the strike (force majeure), it is up to the examiners to decide on a case-by-case basis. It may be possible for them to take the exam during the remaining exam time. Under certain circumstances, the exam time can also be adjusted for the students affected, provided that this does not cause any further implications (room occupancy, disruption of the exam, etc.). Or, in the case of exams with two consecutive time slots, participation in the later group may be considered, for example.
4. There is no entitlement to an alternative date.

There is evidence to suggest that people have been staying overnight in the Amberg Library. The library is a place for learning and working, not a hotel.
In particular, the first aid room is NOT a place to stay overnight, but may only be entered and used in emergencies. Items may not be removed from it and the use of blankets and similar items is strictly prohibited for hygiene reasons.

WI/TM - Intralogistik - Praxisprojekte
Im kommenden Halbjahr können im Teilgebiet Intralogistik der SAPbased Smart Factory (siehe https://www.oth-aw.de/sapbased-smart-factory) wieder Aufgabenstellungen für Praxisprojekte (anrechenbar mit 5 CP als Wahlpflichtmodul) oder Abschlussarbeiten angeboten werden – und zwar in folgenden Themengebieten:
- Autonome Transportfahrzeuge MiR100/250 (vgl. #SAPbased_Smart_Factory/MiR100Hook.mp4)
- Digitale Etiketten (siehe https://www.tronitag.com/de/air-serie/): System-Inbetriebnahme und Erprobung
- Exoskelette (z.B. Erprobung des exoIQ B900, vgl. https://www.exoiq.com/ruecken-exoskelett-b900)
- Real-Time Locating Systeme (RTLS): Marktrecherche und Systemauswahl

The database Statista provides access to more than one million German and English statistics and infographics on companies, markets, trends, and current topics. Access is free of charge for OTH members, but due to a recent security change, additional registration is now required.
How do I get access to Statista?

Dear Students,
As previously announced, a retake examination will be offered for those students who did not successfully pass the exam in the previous summer semester in the course IB – Sales Management and e-Commerce.
The examination will take place on 12 February 2026 at 15.00 hours / 3:00 p.m. CET.
The exam will be held in presence at the OTH in Weiden. As multiple rooms will be used, you will find information about your specific room assignment in the Moodle course the day before the exam.
The exam will be
- an online multiple-choice exam
- conducted on the computers provided by OTH.
- It will consist of 30 questions and
- the duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
- The questions will follow the same format as the sample questions available on Moodle.
Make sure:
- You must be able to log in on the OTH computers using a German keyboard layout and access the Moodle course. If you have not yet done so, please make sure in advance that you are able to log in successfully to Moodle, as technical login issues on the exam day cannot be resolved individually.
- For identification, you are required to bring your student ID card.
- You may bring one A4 sheet of paper, handwritten or printed on both sides, containing notes that may help you during the exam.
- No other aids are permitted. Technical devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, or similar devices must be switched to silent mode and kept in your bags under the table for the entire duration of the exam. Any use of such devices will lead to disqualification from the exam.

Please note that there is no possibility of retaking modular exams if the corresponding lecture has not taken place. In such cases, retakes will be possible again in the 2026 summer semester, provided that these courses are offered.
