    -you need fill in the form and get the signature of the first supervisor, then submit to Mrs Kerstin Humig.

    - you can`t submit earlier than 2 months

    -you need to submit within 5 months, to both supervisors + a hardcopy to Students` Office

    - the thesis will be presented in a colloquium

  • Mathematics Bridge Course in the winter semester 2025

    For the first time, a bridge course in mathematics will also be offered for international students in the coming winter semester. The course will take place on a total of 11 evenings during the first weeks of lectures; the first date is October 6, 2025. 

    This voluntary course is particularly helpful for students in the Bachelor's program in International Business to refresh the necessary basic knowledge for courses such as statistics. To enable students who are not yet on campus at the beginning of the semester to participate, the course will be held entirely online.

    Aktuelle Informationen zum Anrechnungsprozess

    Nur relevant für Studierende der Fakultät WEBIS.

    Ab dem 01.10.2025 bis 31.10.2025 können Sie die Anträge auf Anrechnung über den im Primuss Portal angezeigten Link zum Webformular einreichen.

    Das Webformular zur Antragstellung wird ab dem 01.10.2025 aktiviert.

     

    Folgendes gibt es für sie zu beachten:

    • Für jedes Modul das angerechnet werden soll ist ein separater Antrag zu stellen.
    • Für ein Modul kann nur einmalig die Anrechnung von Kompetenzen beantragt werden.
    • Anträge erfordern für ihre Bearbeitung vollständige aussagekräftige Unterlagen, andernfalls werden Anträge zurückgewiesen und müssen erneut eingereicht werden
    • Folgende Unterlagen werden u.a. benötigt:
      • Nachweis über die Inhalte bzw. erworbenen Kompetenzen (z.B. Auszug aus Modulhandbuch)
      • Screenshot Anabin (falls Hochschule hinterlegt ist)
      • Notenumrechnungsskala übersetzt (deutsch oder englisch)
      • Beglaubigte Kopie der abgelegten Prüfungen (Notenblatt, Zeugnisse)
      • Übersetzte Nachweise (deutsch oder englisch)

     

     

    • Betrifft nur Studierende mit Studienbeginn ab Wintersemester 2024/2025:
    • Anträge auf Anerkennung können nur fristgerecht im ersten und zweiten Studiensemester gestellt werden (ausgenommen VHB Module)

    We are happy to announce the following special offer for IB students, who do not have any knowledge of German and are hence not able to complete their immatriculation with proof of A2 yet:

    - A 1.1 German course at the the vhs Weiden-Neustadt (Luitpoldstraße 24, Weiden) and begins on 7th October 2025.

    - course times are Thursdays 17:30 - 20:45 h at vhs Weiden (presence only, please check your study time table first before you register https://www.oth-aw.de/files/oth-aw/Studiengaenge/Bachelor/IB/Dokumente/Stundenplan_IB.pdf- )

    - registration is open and takes place externally at the vhs via the link provided in this email below

    - please note that course places are limited

    - a registration fee of 100,- € along with a minimum 75% attendence is required. This registration fee will be reimbursed to those who fullfilled the attendence requirement

    - please do not register if you are unable to attend the first lecture and on time, no latecomers will be admitted.

    For those of you, who have only little knowledge of German, We have some good News!


    The A1.2 German course at the vhs has 8 free places, so if you can register asap (See below), you can join this coming Thursday in Weiden:

    This is a special offer for IB students, who do not have A2 knowledge of German and are hence not able to complete their immatriculation with proof of A2 yet.

    There is only a limited number of places. So first come, first serve.

    Liebe Studierende,

    Sie haben die Möglichkeit das Deutschlandticket vergünstigt (bayerisches Ermäßigungsticket) für monatlich 38,00 Euro zu erwerben.

    Für die OTH Amberg-Weiden ist die Bestellung des ermäßigten Deutschlandtickets unkompliziert und digital über das Verkehrsunternehmen VAG möglich.

    Dort können Sie unter dem Reiter "Deutschlandticket" das "Ermäßigungsticket Studierende" auswählen.
